After an exciting 6 weeks, the DJ contest has finally come to an end. Huge congrats the newest additions to our lineup, Prentiss & Chrimera.

We wanted to inform our voters and contestants of the policies we had in place to ensure a fair contest. After the voting round was over, we had an uncomfortable amount of suspicious and SPAM activity in the system, as to be expected.  We took the top 20 and examined every single vote and its origin.

There were a few cases, without mentioned specific names, where a majority of votes came from the same IP addresses in India, Saudi Arabia and Asia.. Again, the winners were the DJs who received the most LEGIT votes, legit meaning no spam, no flag, no red, no nothing. The winners are a fair and accurate reflection of our policies and ethical guidelines.

We’re looking forward to welcoming Prentiss & Chrimera on board, and stay posted for announcements from The Groove Cruise coming soon pertaining to future DJ contests for 2013!
